A comforting and flavorful recipe for baked chicken thighs that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs, then carefully add chicken broth to the skillet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Rest for a few minutes, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs overnight with your spices and olive oil.
