A delightful Chicken Piccata with juicy chicken breasts in a tangy lemon-butter sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup capers
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add lemon juice, chicken broth, and capers. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in remaining butter until melted.
  7. Serve chicken with sauce poured over, garnished with parsley.
