A simple yet delicious Cabbage Stir Fry packed with vibrant vegetables and flavor, perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and minced garlic, stirring for about 2 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Toss in the cabbage, bell peppers, and julienned carrots, stir-frying for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables, stirring well to coat everything evenly.
  6. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes for the flavors to meld.
  7. Remove from heat, serve hot, and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet.
