A comforting chicken dish filled with savory ham and melted Swiss cheese, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Take each chicken breast and place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on top.
  3. Carefully roll the chicken tightly, tucking in the sides, and secure it with toothpicks.
  4. Dredge each roll in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then coat it with breadcrumbs.
  5. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and brown the chicken rolls on all sides.
  6. Transfer the rolls to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Remove the toothpicks, slice the rolls, and serve hot.

Notes

Pairs well with a fresh garden salad, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes. Can be made in advance and stored in the fridge, then baked before serving.
