  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden and nutty.
  2. Combine the granulated and brown sugars in a bowl.
  3. Pour in the warm brown butter and whisk until creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined.
  5. Whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients gently.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  8. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  9. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  11. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
