Easy Baked Salmon with Honey Soy Glaze

A delightful dish full of flavor that combines the richness of salmon with a sweet and savory glaze, perfect for dinner.

  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 ounces each, skin on
  • 1 ½ tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Prep the Salmon: Take the salmon fillets out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature while you make the glaze and preheat the oven.
  2. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  3. Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the low sodium soy sauce, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until well mixed.
  4. Place the Salmon in the Dish: Lay the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Brush half of the glaze on top of the fillets.
  5. Bake the Salmon: Bake for 12 minutes. Brush with remaining glaze and bake for another 2 to 8 minutes until it flakes easily.

Notes

For added flavor, drizzle a little extra glaze on top before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
