  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, with juice
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until beef is no longer pink, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add potatoes, green beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  6. Optional: Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
