Quick and wholesome banana oatmeal bars perfect for breakfast or snacks, packed with energy-boosting ingredients.

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the rolled oats, almond butter, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Optionally, fold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and press it down firmly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Let cool before cutting into bars and enjoy!
