Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Yeast
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: In a small bowl, combine the warm water and instant yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. Combine dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.
  3. Introduce the flavors: Stir in the olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped fresh rosemary.
  4. Mix the dough: Pour the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients and combine until a shaggy dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough: Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  6. Let it rise: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
  7. Shape the muffins: Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal portions, shaping them into muffins.
  8. Second rise: Place in a greased muffin tin, cover, and let rise for about 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
  10. Bake to perfection: Bake muffins for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.
