A comforting dish featuring tender beef in a creamy sauce, served over egg noodles, perfect for family gatherings.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms, sautéing them until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the meat mixture, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional minute.
  5. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the beef mixture over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
