A rich and creamy vegan chocolate mousse made with silken tofu and dark chocolate, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without the guilt.

Ingredients

  • 1 block silken tofu
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Begin by melting the dark chocolate chips using a microwave or double boiler until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine silken tofu, melted chocolate, maple syrup (or agave nectar), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup or agave if desired.
  5. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes, cover, and refrigerate for at least an hour.

Notes

Serve with fresh berries, cacao nibs, or a dollop of coconut whipped cream. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
