These light and crispy waffles pack in protein for a wholesome breakfast or post-workout refueling.

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Carefully pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  4. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Notes
