A comforting and hearty dish that combines creamy cheese, savory beef, and elbow macaroni for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream or milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir in the elbow macaroni and pour in the beef broth. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender and the broth has mostly absorbed.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  7. Spoon the cheesy mixture into bowls, serve hot, and enjoy your hearty meal!
