A satisfying bowl of crispy chicken coated in sweet-hot honey, served with vibrant vegetables and rice.

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in hot honey and cook for 1-2 minutes until the chicken is glazed.
  4. In a separate pot, steam or sauté mixed vegetables until tender.
  5. To assemble, place a serving of rice in a bowl, top with hot honey chicken and add the vegetables.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature). Adjust the level of hot honey according to your heat tolerance.
