  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag and pour marinade over. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Prepare for Grilling: Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade.
  5. Grill the Chicken: Grill chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish grilled chicken with chopped green onions before serving.
