A delightful blend of dates, walnuts, and ginger, this creamy drink is a warm hug in a cup that brings a taste of Persian culture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup water (or more for desired consistency)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 cup milk (optional for creaminess)
  • Ice cubes (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Soak the dates and walnuts in warm water for about 30 minutes to soften.
  2. Drain and add the dates and walnuts to a blender, along with the grated ginger and 1 cup of water.
  3. Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy, adding more water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Add the milk at this stage and blend again until fully combined and creamy (optional).
  5. Serve your delightful drink chilled or over ice for an invigorating experience.
