Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the creamy ricotta cheese, all-purpose flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Roll the dough into small balls, about the size of a walnut on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cook the gnudi in a large pot of boiling salted water until they float to the top, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Prepare the cheese sauce by heating heavy cream in a saucepan and stirring in shredded mozzarella and garlic powder.
  5. Coat the cooked gnudi with the cheese sauce, stirring gently to ensure they are well coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

To ensure the perfect texture, avoid overworking the dough. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
