A low-carb twist on the traditional taco, filled with savory ground beef, cheese, and fresh veggies, all wrapped in a warm tortilla for a satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (your choice)
  • 4 Tostada shells
  • 2 cups Lettuce, chopped
  • 1 Tomato, diced
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 Avocado, sliced
  • 4 Low-carb tortillas

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef with taco seasoning until fully cooked.
  2. Lay a low-carb tortilla flat and place a tostada shell in the center.
  3. Add the cooked beef on top of the tostada shell, and layer with shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and fresh avocado.
  4. Fold the edges of the tortilla over the filling to create a wrap.
  5. Cook the wrapped crunchwrap in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream on the side.

Notes

For added flavor, mix browned beef with taco seasoning ahead of time and include optional toppings like jalapeños or black olives.
