A comforting dish featuring savory ground beef and noodles, infused with the aromas of garlic and ginger.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (like lo mein or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions and set aside while you prepare the rest of the dish.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add in the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until it’s nicely browned.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, a sprinkle of salt, and pepper.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing gently to combine everything evenly.
  7. Stir in the chopped green onions and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Serve your Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles hot.

Notes

This dish pairs well with steamed broccoli or a cucumber salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
