A simple yet flavorful dish that combines the earthy notes of cumin and coriander with the sweetness of cinnamon, all while infused with the freshness of lemon.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture generously onto each salmon fillet.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in a baking dish and top each one with slices of lemon.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Serve with couscous, quinoa, or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
