Delightful no-bake cookies made with oats, cocoa, and peanut butter that are rich, chocolaty, and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate base by combining sugar, milk, and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a bubble then remove from heat.
  2. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine with oats, folding until well mixed.
  4. Set spoonfuls onto wax paper and allow them to cool until firm.

Notes

Can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or refrigerated for extra firmness. They freeze well, layered with parchment paper.
