  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly and slightly golden.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  4. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and optional nutmeg; taste and adjust seasoning.
  6. Serve over pasta, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Use fresh Parmesan cheese for better melting and flavor. Adjust seasoning gradually as you taste.
