A decadent dessert combining the sweetness of honey with the warmth of whiskey, topped with a hint of flaky sea salt.

  • 1 crust Pie Crust (Store-bought or homemade; can be gluten-free)
  • 3 large Eggs (Whisked until smooth)
  • 1/2 cup Raw Honey
  • 1/4 cup Whiskey
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Butter (Melted unsalted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon Flaky Sea Salt (For sprinkling before serving)
  • 1 teaspoon Optional Vanilla Extract (For non-alcoholic version)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust by placing it into your pie pan.
  3. Whisk the eggs in a mixing bowl until smooth and frothy.
  4. Combine the honey and sugar in another bowl, whisking until the sugar begins to dissolve.
  5. Integrate the melted butter into the honey-sugar mixture, followed by the whiskey.
  6. Mix the egg mixture into the honey-whiskey mixture until fully combined.
  7. Pour the mixture into your prepared pie crust.
  8. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the filling is set and edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool the pie on a wire rack before serving.
  10. Garnish the top of the pie with flaky sea salt before serving.

Notes

Pairs beautifully with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
