A creamy and rich Shrimp Alfredo dish that’s perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, creating a beautiful aroma.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce becomes smooth and velvety.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the Alfredo sauce, tossing everything together until the pasta is thoroughly coated in the rich sauce.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.

Notes

For additional flavor, add a splash of lemon juice before serving. Fresh shrimp is recommended, but thawed frozen shrimp works too.
