A delightful combination of tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and a sauce that balances sweetness and heat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or quinoa for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine honey, sriracha, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a delicious sauce that will coat everything wonderfully.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until nicely browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Toss in the broccoli and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes until it’s tender but still crisp.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well to coat evenly in the sticky mixture.
  5. Spoon the mixture over bowls of warm cooked rice or fluffy quinoa and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to adjust the ratio of honey to sriracha based on your preference for sweetness or heat. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days.
