Delightful stuffed shells filled with creamy ricotta and topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Take a spoonful of the cheese mixture and fill each pasta shell.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Place the filled shells on top of the marinara layer.
  7. Pour more marinara sauce over the shells.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Consider adding sautéed spinach or roasted vegetables to the cheese mixture for added nutrition.
