Ingredients

  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard (or Dijon mustard)
  • 1 teaspoon White Vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • to taste pinch Salt
  • to taste pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika (smoked paprika recommended)

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes.
  3. Peel and halve the eggs. Gently crack the shell and peel under running water. Slice each egg in half lengthwise.
  4. Prepare the egg filling. Scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
  5. Fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture, creating a mound on top.
  6. Garnish the eggs with paprika for flavor and color. Serve on a platter.

Notes

These deviled eggs can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Allow room for customizing flavors to suit your guests’ tastes.
