A vibrant and nourishing Tofu Cabbage Stir Fry that combines crispy tofu and colorful vegetables in a quick and easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, diced
  • 2 cups of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced tofu and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage, bell pepper, and carrots.
  5. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring to combine, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
