A delightful breakfast sandwich featuring crispy bacon or sausage, fluffy eggs, and melty cheese, all perfectly toasted.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (your choice)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 4 slices of bacon or 1 sausage patty
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings (lettuce, tomato, avocado)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon or sausage in a skillet until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook to desired doneness, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread and place in the skillet, butter side down.
  4. Add a slice of cheese on each piece of bread, then layer with cooked eggs, bacon or sausage, and optional toppings.
  5. Top with the other slice of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.

Notes

For crispy bacon, press it down while cooking. Experiment with different cheeses for variety.
