Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). While it’s heating up, grab a mixing bowl and toss in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Combine the milk and melted butter in a separate bowl. Stir until well incorporated.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and gently stir until just combined.
  4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and garlic powder to the dough, and fold in until evenly distributed.
  5. Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide it into 8 equal pieces and shape into balls.
  6. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet, ensuring they’re close but not touching. Bake for about 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Melt a tablespoon of butter while the rolls are baking. Brush them with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for about a week. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes.
