Crispy, guilt-free apple fries with a sweet cinnamon coating, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples by peeling them if desired, then slice into fry-like sticks.
  2. Set up three bowls for coating: flour, egg and milk mixture, and breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Coat each apple stick first in flour, then in the egg and milk mixture, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Air fry the coated apple fries, lightly sprayed with cooking spray, in a single layer.
  5. Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dips like caramel or yogurt.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
