A delightful fusion of apple crisp and creamy cheesecake in a warm, comforting bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese and butter until creamy and smooth.
  3. Incorporate the sugar and eggs, then add the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently until just combined.
  6. Add the diced apples and fold them into the batter.
  7. Prepare the topping with oats, brown sugar, and melted butter.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle the topping over it.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
