Deliciously crispy baked chicken tenders that are kid-friendly and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a shallow dish.
  3. Prepare the beaten eggs in another shallow dish.
  4. Set up panko breadcrumbs in a third dish.
  5. Bread each chicken tender by dipping in seasoned flour, then into eggs, and finally coating with panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Add cooking spray or melted butter on top of the tenders.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, double coat the tenders and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
