  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose or whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: chopped nuts or chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix the mashed bananas and tahini until smooth.
  3. Add in sugar (or honey) and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add this dry mixture to the banana mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with optional nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes
