  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Hot rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef by combining it with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch; let sit for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Steam the broccoli with a splash of water for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet, combine, and heat through.
  8. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Add sesame seeds or green onions for garnish; serve with jasmine or basmati rice.
