A comforting dish combining juicy beef, crisp broccoli, and savory sauces, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef (flank steak or sirloin), sliced thinly
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in a bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, then remove from the pan.
  3. Add minced garlic and broccoli to the same pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  4. Return the beef to the pan, add beef broth and stir until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice, enjoying the delicious flavors.

Notes

For additional flavor, slice beef against the grain and consider using frozen broccoli for a quicker preparation.
