A delicious fusion of tender chicken breast with a rich bourbon glaze, perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bourbon Sauce by mixing bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sauté the chicken in the skillet, seasoned with salt and pepper, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the bourbon mixture over the chicken and bring to a simmer.
  5. Thicken the sauce and cook until it’s clinging to the chicken, about 5-7 minutes more.
  6. Serve your Bourbon Chicken over rice or with vegetables.
