Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of melted butter, 1 cup of milk, 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon of lemon zest, and 1/4 cup of lemon juice.
  4. Blend wet and dry mixtures: Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Add the blueberries: Pour the batter into the prepared dish and sprinkle the blueberries on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
