Delicious salmon fillets coated in a sweet and smoky bourbon glaze, perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk the glaze: In a bowl, whisk together bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
  2. Marinate the salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the glaze over the fish. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your cooking method: Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Prepare the salmon for cooking: Remove salmon from marinade (reserve marinade) and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill or Bake the salmon: If grilling, place salmon on the grill skin-side down and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, brushing with reserved marinade. If using the oven, place on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes, brushing with reserved marinade halfway through, until the salmon is cooked through.
  6. Serve!: Serve with lemon wedges.
