  • 4 thick slices of brioche bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Whisk the egg mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, bourbon, vanilla extract, sugar, and cinnamon until well blended.
  2. Soak the brioche slices: Soak each brioche slice in the egg mixture for about 5 minutes on each side.

Notes

For extra crispy bacon, bake it in the oven instead of frying. Use day-old brioche for better texture.
