  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Brown the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until golden brown.
  4. Toss the cubed bread with the browned butter until coated.
  5. Whisk together brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Pour the wet mixture over the buttered bread cubes, folding in toffee bits.
  7. Let it sit for 15 minutes to soak.
  8. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.
