A warm and comforting dish of seasoned ground beef topped with flaky, cheesy biscuits.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (7.5 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  4. Stir in frozen mixed vegetables, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the beef mixture into a baking dish, spreading evenly.
  6. Arrange the biscuits on top, leaving space for puffing up.
  7. Brush the biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For freezing, prep before baking and cook from frozen.
