  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter and mix in granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, creating an even base.
  6. Beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  8. Top with the remaining brownie batter and spread it evenly, ensuring the cream cheese is encapsulated.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Let cool before cutting into squares and serve.
