Delightful chicken koftas infused with spices and served with a creamy garlic yogurt sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for the sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground chicken, parsley, onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into oval-shaped koftas.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the koftas for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Mix yogurt, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl to make the garlic yogurt sauce.
  5. Serve the koftas warm with the garlic yogurt sauce, rice, flatbread, or salad.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the kofta mixture rest for 30 minutes before cooking.
