A quick and delicious Chicken and Green Bean Stir-Fry that combines tender chicken with crisp green beans and aromatic flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken strips, season them with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5–6 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Toss in the fresh green beans and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to coat evenly, allowing the flavors to meld for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over a bed of cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

Quick and customizable; can swap chicken for tofu or shrimp, and adapt with available vegetables.
