Instructions

  2. Combine Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Crack in the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
  7. Scoop the Dough: Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake the Cookies: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the tops look crinkly.
