  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • To taste sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the packed brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the alcohol-free vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the toffee mixture over the pretzels and mix until well-coated.
  7. Spread the coated pretzels evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few minutes and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  10. Break apart any clumped pretzels and serve.
