Delicious, warm, and gooey cinnamon rolls that bring comfort and joy to any breakfast table.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 56 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and eggs; mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Roll up tightly and cut into 12-15 slices.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Beat together powdered sugar, cream cheese, vanilla, and milk until smooth for the icing.
  12. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
