A comforting pasta dish filled with a creamy ricotta and seasoned ground beef mixture, topped with marinara and cheeses.

Ingredients

  • Large pasta shells
  • Ground beef
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Brown the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine the cooked beef mixture with ricotta in a bowl.
  6. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture.
  7. Prepare a baking dish with a layer of marinara sauce.
  8. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish.
  9. Add the remaining marinara sauce on top and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes.
  11. Finish baking uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  12. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a garden salad and garlic bread. Can be customized with different meats or cheeses.
