Indulge in a creamy garlic Parmesan chicken tortellini that turns ordinary weeknight dinners into gourmet experiences.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 12 ounces cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips or cubes.
  2. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and continue stirring until melted and smooth.
  4. Add cooked tortellini and sliced chicken to the skillet with the sauce. Toss until everything is evenly coated and heated through.
  5. Plate immediately and garnish with extra Parmesan or chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Serve with a crisp green salad or garlic bread. Pairs well with Sauvignon Blanc.
